How to read this
Margin is what you pay to play. It is charged on every bet, win or lose. A book at 7% is taking roughly twice as much out of the same market as a book at 3.5%, and no amount of picking winners changes that.
These are pre-match prices. In-play margins are typically far wider, and we do not currently carry them — so nothing here should be read as describing what a book charges live.
We only compare like with like. Every figure comes from the same main-line market at each book, on fixtures they all price. Books quoting few of the fixtures we track will show a smaller sample, and the sample size is printed next to every number rather than hidden.
